Hello, and welcome! I am a licensed Master’s-level trained mental health counselor and ARCH Certified Equine Professional. My counseling specialty is autism in females as well as a specialized form of psychotherapy with equines (horses) that I have termed Equitherapy. Through my research and clinical work, I know that undiagnosed autistic females can be misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or just missed. As a late-diagnosed autistic woman and researcher myself, I understand female autism, the way language shapes our experience, and the unique relief, grief, and reconstruction of identity that can accompany late diagnosis.
Services
All services can be offered at flexible times to fit your schedule, including “regular” business hours, weekends, evenings, or very early morning.
Counseling
Neurodivergent-affirming counseling with an autistic female clinician for adult women.
I currently have a waitlist for Counseling.
Equitherapy
Autistic-led, designed, and inspired psychotherapy with horses (Equitherapy).
I am currently not taking new Equitherapy clients.
Assessments
Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments specializing in adult females.
I am currently accepting clients in New Mexico.
Workshops and Presentations
Presentations are available for professional conferences, agency trainings, university programs, community organizations, and private groups. In addition to the topics listed on this page, I welcome requests tailored to your team’s or community’s specific needs — because good training, like good therapy, should meet people where they are. Workshops and Presentations can be provided in-person and via Zoom. Sliding scale or reduced rates may be available for nonprofit and community organizations. Contact Rebecca to discuss details of your workshop or presentation.
